John is a Managing Director at Coalesce Capital. Prior to joining Coalesce in 2025, John was a Managing Director at Permira in the Services group for 10 years. He was previously a Vice President at Irving Place Capital and an investment professional at Thoma Cressey Bravo and GSO Capital Partners. John began his career at Morgan Stanely in New York.

John currently serves on the board of directors of Miller Environmental Group and previously served on the board of directors of Cielo, DiversiTech, Lytx, and Motus, among others.

John received a BA in Economics and History, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
